Les cascades du herisson waterfall

Herisson is located near the village of doucier in the heart of the “Region des Lacs� source of the herisson river is in the lake of bonlieu at altitude of 805m. It drops down to the doucier plateau covering 280m of altitude difference in only 3km by cutting through narrow gorges and forming spectacular waterfalls of the “Eventail� a 65m drop in leaps and bound forming a pyramid of foaming water. The “Saut du moulin�and “Saut Girard� are the popular ones.
