Spittal an der Drau is an Austrian town. The town of Spittal is located in the western part of the Austrian province of Carinthia and the main town of the province´s largest county (which is also Austria´s second largest county). Spittal has a population of about 16.000 people and in the town centre there is one of the most beautiful renaissance castles in Austria (Schloss Porcia).
